The men, women and youngsters of the 20th Maine are dedicated to learning about the lives and experiences of the Civil War soldier and civilian. We seek to educate the public about the Civil War period including: the clothing and weapons, life in camp, mock battles, cooking etc.  Through family participation we foster individual learning and growth and provide opportunities for character development for younger members.
